How HMT Can Meet Your Product Design Needs

With an emphasis on design within the plastic injection mould industry we have extensive experience designing products for a wide range of markets. HMT can offer a full in house project managed service from design, tool making, production and assembly.

We use Computer Assisted Design (CAD) software. CAD is a high tech, robust and extremely accurate design tool. As part of our product design service we are able to offer our expertise on ideal materials, desired finish, predict and eliminate possible production problems and take into account complex solutions to manufacture issues such as, stress analysis, shear analysis, thermal analysis and fluid flow analysis.

We can also provide you with computer-generated images and animations, or rapid prototype models where appropriate, which you can use to show to backers and VCs or for marketing purposes. This will allow you to start the selling process while the product is still in production, bringing forward the return on your investment.
